Linguistic Proficiency

In my future as a healthcare professional, I hope to be able to use my language and cultural knowledge to better serve and understand everyone that I come in contact with. I think that expanding my knowledge and linguistic proficiency can allow me to better connect with future patients, especially if they speak french. I hope to be able to use my french language skills to potentially translate for future patients. I have learned firsthand the importance of being comfortable in a healthcare setting, especially in terms of being able to communicate effectively with the healthcare provider.

 

 

 

 

Devoir 2 

This assignment served as a reflection piece for my analysis of the popular text, Les Miserables. This piece challenged me to find the deeper meaning behind the words of the text. When doing this reflection, I tried to look at the piece through a different lens so that I could really analyze what the author was trying to depict, beyond the obvious.

Reines de France 

This presentation served as a group presentation that focused on the queens of France over the years. We did a deep dive on multiple different queens and reported their importance and influence over France. We chose artifacts, ranging from objects to paintings, that really emphasized the influence of the Queens on the people of France, culture, and the world. Each artifact that was analyzed helped tell the story of the influencial Queens’ lives.
