The following cultural assignments have a direct correlation to the field of my professional goals. Upon graduation, I plan to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. Any job in healthcare requires an awareness of the world around you, especially in terms of global health concerns. I believe that exploring the impact that the Covid pandemic had on individuals' health is crucial, in order to get a full medical history of the patient for optimal treatment to be carried out. Overall, being able to connect topics studied in class to a future career in healthcare is invaluable.

La France et La Santé Presentation 

The Presentation was created for my French 4180 course and outlined France and the general health of the population. This presentation was very insightful for me to make because it allowed me to see major differences between the health disparities in France versus common health disparities in the United States. I feel like this course and this assignment helped prepare me to intern for MyPL, a french tumor board meeting and workflow management company.

Santé Mentale et COVID Presentation 

This presentation focused on the correlation of the Covid pandemic and mental health. This assignment allowed me to explore the relationship between the pandemic and mental health, and how the occurrence of reported mental health issues changed in relationship to the pandemic. I was able to see how current issues were affecting population health across the globe.
